Aviation Gala | University of Waterloo Aviation Society

The University of Waterloo Aviation Society is excited to be hosting our inaugural Aviation Gala on May 10, 2019, at 5:30 P.M. We would like to cordially invite you to join us at the Engineering 7 (E7) Atrium at our main campus to celebrate the accomplishments and passion of students, alumni, and faculty. This dinner will foster interdisciplinary collaborations, build networking opportunities, and display student successes. On this evening, our society hopes to gather and connect industry and government leaders with university administration, students, and alumni. We look forward to having you join us in creating a memorable event.

Reception

Enjoy tasty appetizers while you network with aviation industry professionals, alumni, instructors, and fellow aviation students. Cash bar will be open for the reception.

6:30 - 7:45

Dinner

Celebrate your year with a gourmet three course table service meal. Please notify us of any dietary restrictions in advance.

7:45 - 8:30

Industry Panel

An informative panel of aviation industry leaders will be moderated by Dr. Suzanne Kearns. Please send us your questions in advance.

8:30 - 9:00

Awards

Academic awards will be presented to aviation students recognizing student successes and student-voted community awards will be presented for contributions to our aviation community at UW.

9:00 - 9:20

Closing and Celebrations

A final opportunity to connect with all the attendees. Cash bar will be open. Students and alumni are invited to McCabe's Irish Pub and Grill to continue celebrations.
